Since they met and married, after graduating from Christian Universities, Pastors Barry and Judy Harmon knew that God had a major call on their lives as a ministry team. After serving others in ministry in various capacities, they began fulfilling their pastoral calling in September 1986. They founded Shekinah Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
With a fresh direction from the Lord, Pastors Barry and Judy changed the location of the ministry to Fort Mill, South Carolina. The name of the ministry was changed to Ultimate Life Church with a renewed message from the Lord – “Live Life Beyond The Ordinary!”

Pastor Barry
Senior Pastor Barry has a passion to discover and release the revelation of Wisdom, the awesomeness of God’s Presence, and the Principles of Leadership to the Body of Christ. He is a dynamic preacher, a teacher of practical revelation, and an anointed psalmist. Helping individuals to discover who they are in Christ and showing them how to walk out their divine destiny is a driving force within him. With the ability to function in all the gifts of the Spirit, he possesses a mantle of authority with a true shepherd’s heart.
Pastor Judy
Senior Pastor Judy flows in a prophetic anointing with accuracy and she is effective in teaching, preaching, and personal ministry. She has a special love for people and challenges them to be saved, healed physically and emotionally, and helps to deliver them into a fresh new level of freedom. Her powerful delivery style will make you laugh and maybe cry, but you will never forget the healing that Jesus does in your heart.
Pastor Nathan & Rachel Harmon
Pastor Nathan and Rachel have four children. Pastor Nathan serves as our Youth Pastor and Rachel is active in the Nursery Ministry and other areas of service at ULC. Pastor Nathan ministers with a strong prophetic anointing and a word that is relevant to today's generation.
Pastor Jim and Vicky Calkins
Pastor Jim and Vicky Calkins are lifelong residents of the Fort Mill area and have been committed and very involved at ULC for many years. Pastor Jim's emphasis is teaching and worship. Vicky is a leader in the Hospitality Ministry and Food Pantry outreach.

Pastors Adam & Liliana served as missionaries and pastors for 17 years in Peru. Their passion is outreach, evangelism, discipleship and practical ministry of the Word. Pastor Liliana is an anointed prophetic psalmist and worship leader. Together they lead the Hispanic ministry at ULC and are involved in many other areas of service.
Pastor Sumner and Arqui Cuesta
Pastor Sumner and Arqui, originally from the Dominican Republic, served for years as missionaries and pastors, both in their country and in the United States. Pastor Sumner preaches with boldness in Spanish and English, while Arqui's love for children is evident in her service in Kidz Church. The Cuesta's bring true latino warmth and rythm to the Ultimate Life family!
Josh Clinton, Praise & Worship Leader
Josh is a gifted musician and vocalist. His wife, Debra, serves as a Greeter and in various capacities at ULC.

Shekinah Church was founded September 1986 in Rock Hill, SC, by Pastors Barry and Judy Harmon. The church was renamed in 2006 to Ultimate Life Church and relocated to Fort Mill, SC, where we are currently located. ULC is a Full-gospel, Spirit-filled, Word of Faith, Non-denominational ministry with anointed, Spirit-led, live praise and worship.
We provide Nursery, Kidz Church, and Youth Ministry at our services, as well as practical, relevant teaching for the entire family!
